Out the box handle on and off you go! It picks up brilliantly it's light weight glides across the carpet with ease picks up all the hairs, I have long hair my son has a long beard and we have a cat! I was concerned when reviews said flimsy handle but to be honest you don't need to apply pressure you just slide it over, emptying it is easy as well it takes a little longer to get the rest of the hairs from the brush underneath but you just turn the wheels and the hairs come free and at a time when using electric only makes the share holders happy I would recommend it to every one who wants to save money or any one with back pain as it is so much gentler on the back than an electric hoover I wish I had got one years ago! 10 out of 10! ## Features - Manual Carpet Sweeper Design: High quality, efficient manual carpet and floor sweeper from Ewbank with handy black speed cleaner and comfortable handle - Long-Life Brushes: Features durable brushes designed for extended use and consistent cleaning performance across various floor surfaces - No Electricity Required: Operates without power cords or batteries, providing convenient and immediate cleaning whenever needed - Versatile Floor Cleaning: Suitable for use on carpets and hard floors, effectively picking up dirt, dust, and debris from multiple surface types - Compact and Lightweight: Easy to maneuver and store, making it convenient for quick clean-ups in any room of your home ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01MTFKJV3 | | Best Sellers Rank | 462,287 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 43 in Carpet Sweepers | | Brand | Ewbank | | Brand Name | Ewbank | | Contains Liquid Contents? | No | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 1,499 Reviews | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Highlight | Speed Cleaner, Floor Sweep, With Handle | | Item form | Liquid | | Manufacturer | Ewbank | | Model Number | 8139383 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 8139383 | | Scent | Carpet | | Size | 1 count (Pack of 1) | | Specific Uses For Product | Carpet, Floor | | Specific uses for product | Carpet, Floor | | Surface Recommendation | Carpet, Floor | | Surface recommendation | Carpet, Floor | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Unit count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Ewbank - **Contains liquid contents:** No - **Item Highlight:** Speed Cleaner, Floor Sweep, With Handle - **Item form:** Liquid - **Manufacturer:** Ewbank - **Number of items:** 1 - **Scent:** Carpet - **Specific uses for product:** Carpet, Floor - **Surface recommendation:** Carpet, Floor - **Unit count:** 1.0 count ## Images ![Manual Carpet Sweeper, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/519XsRw535L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the weight in kg? Mx** A: It is very light, I would estimate approximate weight 2kgs. **Q: Would it be any good on Lino and a wooden floor? Thank you** A: No good on lino and ceramic tiles. **Q: Can you use on stairs? Thanks** A: I do you use on the stairs on the odd occasion but its quite difficult to do it. Dustpan and brush or hoovering is easier. **Q: I can’t open my sweeper to clean out** A: On the back of your ewbank there is a thumb indentation on each flap, push on the indentation and the flap will flip open. It is quite hard so press and hold with force. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cleans well good value *by M***. on 19 August 2026* Our ckeaner koves it so handy if do not want to get henry out ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant!!! *by O***W on 31 October 2022* I love love love it!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beware vigorous sweeping! *by M***O on 31 August 2022* I really like this product in terms of looks and cleaning efficiency. It is easy and lightweight to use and easy to empty BUT the handle is very weak and starts to bend very quickly before eventually snapping. Not sure if it was me putting too much pressure on or if the multi section tube handle just isn't very sturdy at the joints as it is very slim. I have fashioned a replacement handle and the sweeper still works beautifully but I sadly can't give it 5 stars which it would be worth if the handle was a little more robust. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ewbank Manual Carpet Sweeper Handy Black Speed Cleaner Floor Sweep With Handle by Ewbank - Ewbank 280 Cascade Manual Carpet Shampooer, Large Capacity 2.5 Litre Water Tank, Easy Fill, Telescopic Handle with Trigger Release, 500 ml Shampoo Included --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/70109312-manual-carpet-sweeper-black](https://www.desertcart.at/products/70109312-manual-carpet-sweeper-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
