But it move the glue good. I spray a little on the area and let it sit for a few minutes and remove with paper towels . If this don't work on your tape, try 91 % alchol . It move the glue left on after you take it off. **Q: Does this leave hair sticky after glue is released? I am looking for something to wash out all the sticky residue.** A: C-22 is a oil base product so it will not leave any part of the hair or scalp sticky. It will allow for the glue to ball up and you can take a comb and comb out the blue that clumps up. Now shampoo hair.
