The pump was making a loud ratcheting noise every time the pump came on. After viewing the Stenner youtube video on the ratcheting noise my pump was making, it was very easy to fix my Stenner water treatment feed pump. It only took about 30 minutes to fix the issue versus spending hundreds of dollars on buying a new pump. Before you order this kit, watch the video. I only needed the plastic piece not the metal disk. The video shows how to flip over your metal disk to use the back of the disk if it worn down.
