Command line preferred.** A: No, this doesn't have software. You can download drivers and a "workbench" which lets you read raw card data. However this is designed to be tied into a security system software package to properly decode the data contained. There are other card readers that have USB interfaces that mimic key presses. Go with a more open standard.
