Review: I Prayed The Rosary to Find A Good Catholic Husband and We Have Been Married For Almost 19 Years! - When I was single (with no prospects in sight), praying the rosary gave me so much peace and comfort! I joined a couple of Catholic Single websites when I was in my thirties and corresponded with several nice men, but most did not seem very serious about finding a good Catholic spouse or seemed to just be looking for a penpal (I love writing letters and receiving mail, but what I really wanted was a good Catholic gentleman to be my husband!). Quite a few times when I thought I found a good guy, I prayed the rosary for discernment about a certain guy and many times I would receive an answer to whether this was the right guy or not soon afterwards. I could always count on the rosary for answers! It has NEVER failed me! A few years later I prayed the rosary again and received a nice email in December 2006 from a gentleman who lived in the same state as I did. We corresponded for a few months on the website, talked on the phone, and finally met in person on March 19th, 2006 (St. Joseph's Feast Day!). We met at my church and prayed a rosary together. We picked June 16th 2007, the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary as our wedding day to thank God and Our Lady for bringing us together! I've got a number of (5?) different rosary books, but I keep coming back to this one. It's by far my favorite. I wish the cover was nicer, there are a couple mysteries that I wish had different scriptural passages, but overall, this is easily the best rosary prayer book I've found for a daily scriptural rosary practice.
