The main reason most people click off a youtube video is that it has bad audio - this solves that problem nearly instantly.First things first... you get the microphone, a shock mount (with a cold shoe bottom), two cables, a dead cat and a little bag to keep it all in. It's really small, that's the first thing to note, and I carry it around in the front pocket of my backpack. It's light and super easy to just have on you at all times.It comes with two different cables for two different functions - one to plug into a camera or an external recorder (such as a zoom h1) and one to plug straight into a phone's microphone/headset jack. If you've got an iPhone, you'll need a dongle, but that won't come as news to you.It sounds fine, albeit a little tinny. It's loud enough that you won't have to add masses of gain and, for most people, this microphone should be pretty much plug-in and play.It's great for vlogging, and there's no battery in there so there's nothing to remember to turn on/plug in/charge - it just works.That's the best thing about this mic - it just works!
