Normally, I do not paint my nails however I am a great fan of Manicurist and their nail care products focusing on nail health and structural improvment in general. Their Active range includes a number of different nail make up and treatment nail polishes (2 in 1), and when i first saw them them I loved the Active Shine and had to have it. My nails are not in best of shapes, to say the least, but end up looking really nice, once I apply this polish; elegant and natural. Having used it for a while, I am more than happy with it. This is an easy to use, low-maintenance nail polish that provides a lovley pearlescent look whilst acting as a nail treatment at the same time. It is applied on prepped, bare nails and there is no need for a base or a top coat. The The colour is very subtle tone of beige/nude with a subtle, radiant silver shimmer. It has a broad, fan-shaped brush of a generous size designed to fan out across the nail bed and thus enable you to cover a nail in just one or two smooth strokes. Because Active Shine is a sheer, buildable highlighter polish with a subtle finish, the larger brush size is forgiving and reduces streaks, though very narrow nails might need a little extra care to avoid getting polish on the cuticles. It dries very quickly and offers good wear for an air-dry polish, lasting for about a week, and because the color is sheer, any minor chipping is barely noticeable. It is easily removed by standard nail polish removers. I lalso love the fact that it is a vegan product and that the formula includes AHAs which gently exfoliate the nail surface and make nail ridges appear less prominently.
