I have android play in my car had to plug in my phone in order to get it to work and the connection kept disconnecting and wouldn't stay..i bought this adapter with no real expectations and to my great surprise it worked. Perfect connectivity stays on automatic so I never have to mess with it after first set up..my wired android play turned into wireless android play this little magic tool is amazingly clear..u can use it for both android or apple.. highly recommend if you have a wired connection and want to upgrade to wireless without having to buy a newer car. Love this gem ### ⭐ Possible workaround for pairing issue? *by on Reviewed in the United States June 16, 2026* I'm only rating this 1 star because my initial attempt to connect it failed miserably. I previously owned a Motorola MA1 which worked great until it didn't. I couldn't get the Ottocast to pair with my phone and one of the troubleshooting suggestions for the Motorola was to connect the dongle to power adapter and try connecting it that way. Bingo! it worked. I plugged it into my car's usb port and works great. Now for the "will it last" portion. I have until July 13 to return it so I will log time on the device to see how it holds up. If it still functions I won't change my rating only so others having issues will see this post, but I will update the review to indicate how it turned out.06/23/26So far so good. Went out on a 2 hour road trip (each way) and it performed perfectly. It boots up and connects much faster than the Motorola unit and since it's a flash drive configuration it doesn't flop around like the Motorola. ## Frequently Bought Together - OTTOCAST Mini Wireless CarPlay Adapter for iPhone & Android Auto Adapter 2-in-1 Convert Wired to Wireless Apple Car Play, Plug & Play, USB-C, Low Latency (2016+ Cars, iOS 10+/Android 11+) - OTTOCAST Mini Cable Management Clip Kit with Adhesive, Cord Organizer, Wire Holder for Desk, Nightstand, Phone Charger, Computer, Home, Office, Car, Black, 5 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/719905492-ottocast-mini-dongle-wireless-carplay-adapter-for-iphone-and-android](https://www.desertcart.at/products/719905492-ottocast-mini-dongle-wireless-carplay-adapter-for-iphone-and-android) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
