His chest measured 12.5” so we figured the XXS would be too small. Choosing the XS also allows for room to grow. The Velcro is a nice feature to ensure a good fit. Doesn’t seem like he could slip out of it but he hasn’t really tried to escape it yet. If you have a wiggly dog, it takes 2 people to put it on.
