It can also be used to hook your loofah for better drying. I also do not use the pump soap in this even though it could support the weight. I take it out to use it. It is not something you can fold. Also with no rust or grim buils up there is no smell. Overall I think this is a good price holder for the shower. I am not sure it is great for using at a rental property as I am not sure how easy it will come off or if it will damage the surface underneath. It had not shown any issues with the material rusting. They held strong. When I moved, the adhesive hooks were easily removed with a hairdrier, as recommended. Since I needed new hooks and the silver/chrome finish was better for my new space, I ordered a whole new set. The only problem with my new order is one of the adhesive hooks is wonky (you can see in the image that the right hook is slightly higher than the left side) so it sits crooked. That's brings me to the only other criticism, mentioned by others: ordering replacement hooks for when you move or just want to reposition the shelves. I know people say they're available on Amazon, but I've is taking a chance that the hooks are the right fit and same quality as the originals, because they're not provided by the original seller as official replacements.
