Review: Clean Sound, Comfortable Fit, and a Beautiful Limited-Edition Design - The Audio-Technica ATH-M20x in white is an excellent pair of entry-level professional monitor headphones. The sound quality is clear and well-balanced, perfect for mixing, practicing instruments, or just enjoying music without too much emphasis on heavy bass. I appreciate how the sound feels neutral, making it easier to pick out details when working on recordings. Comfort-wise, the ear cushions are soft and fit well over the ears. I’ve worn them for long sessions without discomfort or overheating, which is important for both music practice and gaming. The build feels sturdy, and the cable length is generous, so I can move around my desk without worrying about pulling on it. The limited-edition white color is gorgeous—it stands out from the usual black models and gives a clean, modern look that fits nicely in any studio or setup. It feels like a special version of a reliable classic. If you’re looking for professional-quality sound on a budget, with a stylish design that makes it feel unique, this model is a great choice. Reliable, comfortable, and perfect for both work and leisure.
Review: 音質 - 価格帯として考えれば、各音域は満足できます。 気軽に音を聞く分には申し分ないです！ ただ、耳絵の圧迫感があるので長時間つけるのは 辛いかも？と思います。

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these noise-canceling enough to wear on a plane and not hear the plane noise?**
A: They do NOT have electronic noise canceling. They are over the ear. The cups absorb outside sound but not enough that would be considered "noise cancelling". They're mainly for DJ's, home, and professional studio producers who use them because electronic "Noise Cancelling" tech interferes with recordings.

**Q: are these good for big heads? i have trouble finding headphones that fit comfortably over my big head. also i wear glasses if that helps**
A: They grip my average size head fairly firmly. Not enough to hurt but a big head may have problems. I was able to bend mine a bit to lighten the grip

**Q: How does this compare to the ATH-M30? And how comfortable is it for extended hours of use?**
A: I can only respond to the 2nd part of your question as I have not tried the ATH-M30, but the ATH M20X was (for me) extremely uncomfortable even after using for only a short period of time. This was due to the, IMO, excessive heat build-up which literally caused pools of sweat to collect inside the earpieces. I returned the headset after a few days.

**Q: Do these headphones come with a carrying case?**
A: No, they don't come, but I suggest to buy a case just in case.
If you don't want to, buy it without a case, those are durable headphones, but you never know if you'll need the case to carry them in a bag, back pack, carry on.
