Highly recommend for all skiing! *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2022* I actually used these ski boot frames today up at Eagle Point above Beaver Utah, and it was amazing! I had plenty of control, great response, no slop and best of all so comfortable!!!The quality of materials is top of the line, I wear a size 6 men's and I purchased the medium size, and everything fits great. I'm a long time snowboarder, and a part time skier. And I gotta tell you these are a game changer, I feel sorry for those wearing regular ski boots all day.Note a bit tricky to get strapped into. I recommend finding a bench or something like it to sit on whilst strapping in. Once your in, you are good to go. Excellent product! These are incredible. I have wide feet and ski boots have always been what end my day on the mountain. These are a game changer. I was worried they would not have enough support, but they do. As soon as you put them on over your snowboard boots, it feels like you are in ski boots. I even loosen the straps before getting on the chair and they magically stay tight around my boots and don't fall off. They only thing I would do differently (for my wide footed friends) is get snowboard boots with laces and not a BOA. The BOA dial is nice and quick, but trying to synch them down tight enough to prevent heel lift squeezes my foot too tight so I end up with a tiny bit of a heel lift inside my boot. It's not that big of a deal because I'm not the aggressive skier I used to be but if you are planning on hitting the park, half pipe, or just screaming down moguls, your skis are a bit less responsive with that little bit of lift. Again, the problem would be remedied with a better fitting boot, but for now I've just been tightening the calf strap as much as I can and it also helps keep my foot down. The only other thing worth mention is that there is a bit of a learning curve to get into them quickly. I still take a few minutes and its difficult for me to do with gloves on but 5 times up and its getting a lot easier. That said, there is nothing better than taking these bindings off and being able to walk freely in my snowboard boots. I have battled pain in my toes and feet due to thick, wide feet, (10 1/2, 4E). Five years ago when I began to teach my two daughters how to ski, I did everything I could to increase the comfort of my feet, eventually ending up with my ski boots as loosely buckled as possible. As my girls progressed over the years, I kept my boots this way, in order to keep from having pain during the ski day and numbness and swelling for days after.This year I became a ski instructor at our local mountain. As this provided more time to ski with my daughters and wife, as well as teach young people the joy of skiing, (even with the pain in my toes!) I jumped at this opportunity. What I did n't anticipate was the accumulation of pain and numbness that the additional time in my ski boots would create. Two weeks ago I found myself needing to find a better option, and found the Envy.So, this last weekend I skied on Friday with family members, going slow and easy with younger children as part of the group. I didn't notice any deficiencies in my casual skiing and most of all didn't have any pain in my toes, especially my small toes on the side. At the end of the day, my feet felt fine which left me wondering what a long day of instructing and skiing would bring.On Sunday I took a run before my students arrived and was excited by how well it felt on my feet. I then spent the day instructing and at the end of the day still had time to hit the mountain. Myself and two other instructors went out and had three fast, wonderful runs. I was able to buckle my Envy Frames tight on my feet without pain to my toes and for the first time in years had my feet firmly attached in my boots without pain! I skied harder and faster than I have in years and didn't feel any restrictions or diminishing of my skills because of these frames!One of the best purchases I have made in years! Thank you Envy.
