Review: Pleasant, sharp display. - This KEOTEK Digital thermometer was soft and on the eyes to look at day and night.. An excellent item for use on a car dashboard to monitor engine temperature. If the sensor lead is too short, ordinary speaker wire can be used to lengthen it. The sensor lead is just regular, very thin, about 22 gauge wire. I would suggest cutting the sensor lead a few inches outside of the sensor housing to lengthen the lead. The sensor is soldered on two tiny tabs on the PC board and the new lead can be soldered ther in place of the original. I did that but If a person is not skilled enough to do that then just add on to the existing wire externally. Saves time prying open the device housing and tearing two small wires from the backlite main LED. Accuracy is excellent. If a person needs beater accuracy then he'll have to pay more for a lab grade temp measuring devices. All in all the KEOTEK A great little device and sold and a lot of value for an excellent temp gauge sold at low price .
Review: Just what I needed - Surprisingly nice little temperature meter. Clear, bright and responsive. I have the usb powered version and the wired version. Both work great. No problem at all removing the jumper to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. You might need some tweezers.

Surprisingly nice little temperature meter. Clear, bright and responsive. I have the usb powered version and the wired version. Both work great. No problem at all removing the jumper to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. You might need some tweezers.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good unit with (small) colorful display.

This thermometer works well and seems pretty accurate. However, I should have thought twice about the size of the display (which is clearly shown in the photos and the description). I thought it would be big enough but, I find it a little small to read from any further than a couple of feet away. The colorful display is good, I just wish it was a little larger. I bought the USB style and using a typical USB power block is a convenient power method. The probe wire length is adequate but, a little more length would be ideal. Overall, I think this is a good probe-style thermometer for the cost, with a clear and colorful (although small) display. I give it a solid 4.5 stars.
