To much protien causes your hair to be easy to break and damaged. So you have to maintain a protein moisture balance. **Q: Do you shampoo first before using this?** A: Yes, you need to shampoo with a special shampoo at least twice **Q: Could this replace a conditioner after a wash or would you rinse this product out and follow with a conditioner?** A: You have to wash the product out and follow with a conditioner... I used this per the directions and left on for 5 minutes. Once rinsed my hair felt very strong. There was limited shedding just from that one use. My curls popped back and my hair was soft to the touch! My hair felt moisturized. The scent was mild to me. My hair is turning grey in the front and those grey hairs were shinning very bright. I guess that is a good thing 😄👍🏽. I will contune to use the product until my hair is back to 100%.
