Be careful with the amount of extract if you are off gassing extract. Because it will inflate very quickly. I already got the lid dirty, but that's not a real issue for me. The pump is much larger than I expected, and very strong. Clear and easy to read instructions too.

**Q: Could I use the acrylic lid chamber for stabilizing wood?**
A: Acrylic lid is not compatible with stabilization resin (i.e. Cactus Juice, Gator Venom, Minwaxetc, Plastisol.), alcohol, ethanol, acetone and acrylic based monomers or polymers. These solvents react chemically with the acrylic to cause lid to crack.

This pump sounds solid and is pretty quiet. Everything is easy to set up and when you flip the switch, the gauge will show you that it’s working. Connections are air tight and everything looks great. Definitely worth the money.
