Review: Built like a tank, but several design flaws - Pros: - Heavy, built like a tank. It seems like it would last a long time. - Lays flat, fits into a kitchen drawer - Very easy to clean - Generic design, can squeeze ginger to make juice, oranges, lime, and other stuff... Cons: - Too much space inside - leaves a lot of juice, would have been nice if it was tighter / could squeeze more. The pulp inside comes out fairly wet. - The built in "strainer" barely catches seeds. The good thing is that the seeds mostly stay stuck in the pulp so it's usually fine. - Squirts a lot of juice. Too few orange pieces: less squirting but insufficient pressure = too much waste; More oranges = fill up the space = increased squeezing force, but also a crazy amount of squirting of juice everywhere. I think they could fix this by reducing the amount of space inside to half or less (maybe provide an insert?)... I'd rather squeeze a bit too hard than leave half the juice in the pulp because I can't apply enough pressure. I'll be keeping this because I haven't got enough space for a large appliance on my kitchen counter - and this can easily fit in a kitchen drawer.
