I followed what everyone else was saying and buy one size larger then you normally do. Normally I wear a Large, but I bought an XL.I received it in September, tried it on and thought to myself that this is slightly big for me, maybe it'll fit better after I have everything on underneath. Mind you this is MN and this season we set a record low for the 2nd day on the 2nd season at -5 F.About one week before my season started, I tried it on with everything and it was still to big. Amazon wouldn't let me return it, and shipping it back even if they did, I wouldn't have received the smaller size in time for the season. I called up Gamehide and asked if I could drive to there location and swap out the parka for a smaller size. 2 months after I had originally ordered it, they still let me bring back the parka, with tags and all still attached, to exchange it for the smaller size.Gamehide sure has earned a repeat customer from here on out. This parka is super quiet and kept me warm so far all this season. Would recommend not ordering one size up though. I wear a large normally and I feel even the large is still to big for me and I'm 5'11, 200lbs. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great jacket if the zipper worked better. *by C***O on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2018* Im rating this with 3 stars only because the zipper is a pain in the $&?It took me almost 5 minutes to get the zipper started before heading out for hunting. Only complaint.The jacket its self is great warm in 14* temps. With layers of course. Plenty of options, cuff straps, waist tensioner, removable hood, big pockets, one inner pocket, it has two zippers connected for unzipping from the bottom up or top down. Love the big coller. Again would be a 5 star jacket for me, but getting the zipper on and started is just irritating as heck!!!Im 6’1” 195# 46” chest, i got a large and still had room for 3 base layers plus overalls. That was a fortuitous disappearance, because this jacket is warmer and has far more useful features. Lots of pockets, all in logical and convenient locations, and a large front zipper (with wind baffle) that actually works, meaning it loads quickly and without fuss. I've only used it for one Maine deer season but it stood up fine. I don't need it to last 30 years like that Duxbak, or I don't think I will: I'm 63, but it seems to be sturdy enough to last me well into the future - maybe it'll prove a great wheelchair shawl, who knows?We've had a warm fall up here, so far, with the coldest morning only 25 degrees, but the coat's large enough to accommodate plenty of layering, so I think it's a perfect compromise between light enough for warm(ish) days and too heavy to move.
