Very quiet fan even at full blast. There are 12 fan speeds and at the highest setting, it's probably about 70% as powerful as a regular pedestal fan at max. Depends on placement, in a smaller room like a bedroom or study room, it's probably a better option than a pedestal fan. There are some additional features like sleep mode and auto fan speed adjustment according to room temperature. For cleaning, you can easily open up the back plate held together by a single screw. You're supposed to be able to take out the entire roller fan for washing, but the single screw holding it is screwed on so tight that I haven't been able to do so, and I'm afraid of breaking it if I try to force the issue. Nonetheless, it hasn't been picking up much dust, so I'm just cleaning it with a combination of wet cloth plus a hand vacuum. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. Even the base is superior in assembly to cheaper brands and the whole was packed intelligently to ensure there were no mishaps in delivery.
