The first few nights it felt a little too supportive to give the correct angle. I contacted the Kingdom of Bags service team by e-mail and they told me they would send me another softer version at no charge and I could keep the first one! I was amazed and waited a short time for the new pillow to arrive. It is terrific and just the right softness to give support but not push my spine upwards. The pillow appears to be of excellent quality and I believe it will hold up for a long time. Maybe a 7 to 8 out of 10 on a hardness scale. This is appropriately providing a long term effect on helping my spine to re-shape the natural S-curve. I can imagine some may consider it a bit too hard, but for me, knowing sometimes firmer is actually healthier for our bodies.This does not generate or store heat as well. I've had 3 different kinds of memory foam mattresses and I am sensitive to heat.
