You may need to download another app, but then you login to your account, select a folder, filename and format of jpeg, pdf or searchable pdf. One very important thing is to come up with a standard naming format since the software defaults to "document 20190128_001" style of format. I'm using a "20190128 vendor purpose" format and then filing in a client/function specific folder. A bit of work on input, but it will be easier to locate later. Happy w/ this purchase! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by F***R on April 2, 2025* I wouldn't think of using this for quality photos, but if you're just interested in digitizing documents like receipts, contracts, insurance papers, etc, the quality and convenience are well worth buying it. The fact it has no separate power supply required is a big plus - perfect for mobile laptop users. Also nice you can feed-in a variety of paper lengths, unlike many flatbed scanners that only accomodation standard 8.5"x11" letter-size. It also works well with VueScan scanning software, which has nice added features like auto-skew correction, text recognition and a bunch of other good stuff. Biggest drawback is the alignment of the paper being fed-in. It gets better with practice, but you'll still find yourself trying a second attempt to get the scan output better aligned. Also, you wouldn't want to use this one-at-a-time for any large batch scanning - but a few pages at a time are fine. Highly recommend buying a matching zippered hard case to conveniently store the scanner and USB cable.
