A paper file folder or paper envelope was not going to work out well for the thickness of the stacks of paper I needed to store in each and with the constant use I put them through anything made of paper would not do a very good job of protecting the photo paper inside from wear and tear damage. I am glad that I found these because they fit my need perfectly and are rigid enough to protect the prints stored in them and have stood up perfectly against very regular use and still look like new. The only point I could see possibly being an issue is the plastic snap closures on them that holds the top flap closed but so far they have not given me any issues.
