Review: So far so good.. perfect fit replacement after one trivial modification - This switch is the perfect replacement for the original failed one for my GE stove dual zone hotplate. The shaft length on the new switch was too short for my stove, but luckily it was trivial to exchange it with the one from the original switch. I simply removed the top plate of each switch by releasing the clips on either side with a small screwdriver, after which he shafts came right out and were easily exchanged. Note that the shafts could only be inserted with the correct orientation, making the exchange bomb proof. Wiring the new switch was a simple process of moving the wires one by one from the old switch to the new one. It is currently working as expected and I am delighted with the result.
