The springs are directional, and the U-bolts are different sizes depending on where they go.That being said the installation is fairly straightforward, there are some YouTube videos that will help. Adjustment is kind of trial and error, I highly suggest going to your local dealer and doing some unloaded measurements on new trucks to get the ride height correct. Our use was on an F150 police package, which carries about 600 pounds of gear in it. It wasn't sagging badly, but even the dealer was a bit freaked out at the amount of sway in the rear suspension. We installed these springs, got the ride height to where it would be unloaded, and installed the Hellwig sway bar. The difference is night and day, the ride is much better and the truck handles better than it did before the equipment was installed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2022* The installation is real simple and straight forward. I wasn’t looking to raise the rear of the truck at all or affect the current, unloaded, ride and that is exactly what these do. What I wanted was to help balance the load when I have my travel trailer attached and it works perfect for that. Truck loaded, trailer attached and no helper spring hitch height is 15.5 inches. Add the helper spring same setup the hitch height is now at 17.5 inches. The unexpected benefit was it transferred a little more weight to the front of the truck which now makes it feel more stable. The only down side is when unloaded the attachment hardware has a tendency to rattle when going over bigger bumps. To counteract that I installed some rubber washer under the metal washer, then added some rubber tubing over the sides of the U-bolts. Well made and easy to install . It fit perfectly . I adjusted the springs up to almost maximum and the ride doesn't seem to be affected on my 2016 f-150 crew cab . There is no rattle noise from the springs while driving around empty .
