Review: Great book anyone interested in fungi should have. - Some of the taxonomy in this book is not up to date anymore but that will almost certainly always be the case for a book like this. Apart from that little flaw it is an awesome book that I would recommend to anyone working with or interested in fungi. It helped me a lot in preparing for my preliminary exams as a Ph.D student in plant pathology. The book is really well written and covers the whole kingdom of fungi. I always enjoy reading it and am amazed by the lifestyle and capabilities of fungi again and again. I also think the price of this book is amazing compared to how much textbooks usually cost.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great book anyone interested in fungi should have.

Some of the taxonomy in this book is not up to date anymore but that will almost certainly always be the case for a book like this. Apart from that little flaw it is an awesome book that I would recommend to anyone working with or interested in fungi. It helped me a lot in preparing for my preliminary exams as a Ph.D student in plant pathology. The book is really well written and covers the whole kingdom of fungi. It is difficult to find such a comprehensive text for fungi - this is certainly comprehensive. However, it is also easy to read and is a great general resource for someone in a professional field who works with fungi.

Intro is a misnomer. This is really scientific book and although the first couple pages may be an intro the 99% rest of the book is PhD level reading
