Had a chance to try it during a cruise to Norway. Loved the strong spirit with the subtle hints of spices. Much more heat than gin. Couldn’t find it in UK supermarkets, so have purchased via Amazon. Always need a bottle during winter - very palatable central heating for my body (cheaper than gas!). I sip a small glass of neat Akavit on cold nights - warming and cheering.
