Very durable and correctly measured. I will like buy these again for student Science projects. Review: Great for STEM Projects - As a STEM teacher at the elementary level, I really LOVE these wheels for so many 'builds' we did in the STEM lab! They all seem to be very uniform in size and more importantly the diameter of the hole in the center of the wheel. I use skewers for axles for the various builds! Even when we made glider cars, none of the wheels broke upon landing on a hard surface! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B073W18BP3 | | Brand | STEM INVENTIONS | | Brand Name | STEM INVENTIONS | | Colour | multi | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 229 Reviews | | Item Weight | 0.44 Pounds | | Manufacturer Part Number | small-wheel-100 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model | 43234-1427 | | Rim Size | 1.36 Inches | | UPC | 631912022370 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** STEM INVENTIONS - **Item Weight:** 0.44 Pounds - **Material:** Plastic - **Rim Size:** 1.36 Inches - **UPC:** 631912022370 ## Images ![You Make Plastic Project Wheels with 1/8 Hole - Pack of 100 pcs (Black, Silicon Carbide Grit, Compatible with Angle Grinder, Die Grinder) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81wGDBVzdIL.jpg) ![You Make Plastic Project Wheels with 1/8 Hole - Pack of 100 pcs (Black, Silicon Carbide Grit, Compatible with Angle Grinder, Die Grinder) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ABG3LIm1L.jpg) ![You Make Plastic Project Wheels with 1/8 Hole - Pack of 100 pcs (Black, Silicon Carbide Grit, Compatible with Angle Grinder, Die Grinder) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81BxoNA5+2L.jpg) ![You Make Plastic Project Wheels with 1/8 Hole - Pack of 100 pcs (Black, Silicon Carbide Grit, Compatible with Angle Grinder, Die Grinder) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71QfebMiGhL.jpg) ![You Make Plastic Project Wheels with 1/8 Hole - Pack of 100 pcs (Black, Silicon Carbide Grit, Compatible with Angle Grinder, Die Grinder) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61TVTeT7ouL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Do these roll well?** A: Yes the work great. We made a ramp from a 2X6 and our class had great success rolling their cars down the ramp **Q: Are these made with recycled materials and/or recyclable?** A: Yes, the plastic is recyclable! **Q: can you make 'thomas train' cars with these?** A: Yes, you could use these as wheels on toy trains. **Q: Do these come with axles? If not, any suggestions on which ones to buy?** A: These wheels don't come with axles. You can use any rod that's 1/8 inches in diameter. 1/8 inch wooden dowels are a popular choice, but please note that there is some size variation with any wooden product, so some dowels will be slightly larger or smaller than 1/8 inches in diameter. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfectly functional wheels *by M***E on 14 January 2019* Great wheels. Very durable and correctly measured. I will like buy these again for student Science projects. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for STEM Projects *by D***T on 18 February 2026* As a STEM teacher at the elementary level, I really LOVE these wheels for so many 'builds' we did in the STEM lab! They all seem to be very uniform in size and more importantly the diameter of the hole in the center of the wheel. I use skewers for axles for the various builds! Even when we made glider cars, none of the wheels broke upon landing on a hard surface! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good but... *by T***A on 18 May 2023* Good idea for wheels, however, the holes can only accommodate thin skewers. With this in mind, too expensive. Wish they were cheaper. ## Frequently Bought Together - Toy Wheels - Bulk Pack of 100 - Small Plastic Wheels for Toy Cars, STEM Projects, Crafts, Mini Vehicles - EBOOT Unfinished Natural Wood Craft Dowel Rods 100 Pack (6 x 1/8 Inch) - eBoot Unfinished Natural Wood Craft Dowel Rods 100 Pack (12 x 1/8 Inch) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.at/products/764799128-you-make-plastic-project-wheels-with-1-8-hole-pack](https://www.desertcart.at/products/764799128-you-make-plastic-project-wheels-with-1-8-hole-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Austria* *Store origin: AT* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
