You get the 3D V-Cache advantage for gaming, but you don’t sacrifice real multi-core performance like previous X3D chips. It handles high-thread workloads, AI tasks, rendering, and multitasking without feeling like you gave anything up for gaming. Gaming performance is top-tier. Frame pacing is smooth, minimums are strong, and CPU-heavy titles benefit noticeably from the extra cache. At the same time, it doesn’t feel “gimped” in productivity like older cache-focused chips sometimes did. Thermals are reasonable for a high-end 16-core part, but don’t cheap out on cooling.
