Have a cloth to read on and a cloth to put over the cards. Place the shuffled deck under the querent's side of the cloth and spread out in a left to right or right to left so they are more easily accessible. Have querent place hand under that covering cloth and choose the cards as you would normally. I prefer to let the querent shuffle and choose the cards because I want only their energy. Review: Overall pretty good - These cards weren't quite as vibrant as I expected and some of the details aren't as crisp as I'd like. I think that's more due to the size of the card and trying to shrink down the images. I wish they came in a bigger jumbo size -- I'd order them just for the art. They're still very beautiful. They feel nice, the size is right, easy to shuffle, and they're easy to read. If you have any experience it's a snap. There's a basic instruction manual that comes with them which explains the basics. I read a couple of reviews that said these were to thin. I think they are ok. Even if I used them every day I'd expect them to last years. Overall I think this is my favorite tarot deck of all time. The back images are really helpful and add a new dimension.
