Will one work in the basement without the power extender?** A: Haven't used the phone in the basement, so can't answer your question. **Q: Are they good for panasonic kx-tgm450?** A: For the 450 Panasonic recommends the kx-tgma45S as the extra hand set. That leads me to believe that the 44w likely will not work. Order the 45S instead. **Q: What is the talk time for the battery, how long does it last?** A: Not really sure but I can tell you that after talking on the phone for 2 plus hours the phone was left off the charging unit over night and still showed 3 bars on the unit. Amazon purchases are not good, no warranty and 2 of the 3 panasonic products I bought here were defective. I had to buy directly from Panasonic to ensure the phones were in working orders and not refurbished.
