## Features

- A PERSONAL WATER FILTRATION SOLUTION FOR ON THE GO- The 1-quart Go Berkey Water Filter System provides clean, refreshing water for on the go, at home and everyday use. The Go Berkey System is constructed of AISI 304 stainless steel and has a 1-quart storage capacity. It measures 14" tall with a 4" diameter when in use. When not in use, upper chamber nests in lower chamber and measures just 10" high with a 4" diameter when stored.
- COMPACT DESIGN, WITH SAME CONTAMINANT REDUCTION PERFORMANCE AS LARGER BERKEY SYSTEMS- The system's Black Berkey Element addresses over 200+ typical contaminants that could be present in drinking water sources. Black Berkey Elements have been tested by accredited third-party labs that have reported that the elements remove or reduce over 200+ typical contaminants found in drinking water.
- READY TO GO- The Go Berkey Water Filter is the smallest gravity-fed water filter system available (requires time for assembly and filtration), and is perfect for use in a dorm room, the office, hotels and more. Plus, it’s a great addition for your bug-out bag or travel gear, or keep it in your vehicle so it's easily available whenever and wherever you need it.
- 22 Oz. SPORT BERKEY WATER FILTER BOTTLE- Provides instant water filtration. Ideal for use on the go: driving, exercise, travel, home, work, school, etc. The Sport Berkey Filter has been tested by multiple independent third-party labs for its ability to remove or reduce typical contaminants found in drinking water sources. We recommend replacing the filter after 640 refills. Filter may require replacement sooner based upon the quality of influent water.
- INCLUDES BLACK BERKEY PRIMER AND CASE- The Black Berkey Primer allows you to prime Black Berkey Elements manually without the need for a pressurized faucet. Kit also includes a compartmentalized carrying case for convenient storage and transport of system, Black Berkey Element, Sport Berkey Bottle and Black Berkey Primer.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this model available with the ceramic filter and fluoride attachment?**
A: No it is not. The Berkey company says this about this model "Due to the outdoor use of this system, the Berkey PF-2 Post Reduction element is typically not necessary, nor do they fit within the Go Berkey system." I hope that answers your question.

**Q: How often does it need to be primed?**
A: If you let the filter dry out then you'll need to prime it. When you clean it then normally you'll also need to prime it. I use mine every single day so, unless I let the filter get dry or I have just cleaned it, I haven't needed to re-prime it. This might sound bad, or good, but I normally clean the black filter about once every 6 months or so. When the water takes longer then about an hour to filter through. I figure as long as it is working well, then I don't mess with a good thing ;) I do look at it every day to be sure nothing gross is growing but since I refill and use it 2 to 3 times each day, nothing seems to ever build up.

**Q: Where does the water come out from? I don't see a dispenser like I see in the other Berkey models!!
How long does it take to filter one gallon?**
A: I have purchased two of these. The first one works relatively quickly. The second takes a few hours to filter about 20 ounces, making it useless for most purposes. I fill at night for use in the morning. (NB: I know how to prime properly.) The black filters are not uniformly effective. I think that in some, like mine, the carbon is too tightly compressed.

**Q: Which 3M Scotch Brite pad do you use for cleaning?**
A: You would only use the scrubbing pad on the filter itself when it needs to be cleaned, and you can use any kitchen scrubbing pad as long as there is no soap or chemicals on it.
