The word "sailcloth" went through my head, but I don't think that is right--I think sailcloth is like canvas. This is more like a cheap bedsheet that has been treated with sizing. Every element was like this--from the difficult to maneuver plastic sliders used to adjust the straps to the padding on the straps. I normally wear a 34D or 36D. Based on others' reviews, I ordered a 38B. It was sooo tight! The cups were just about the right size, but completely cone-shaped, like Madonna in the 90s.
