I use the thin sliced loaf which is about 1/2 the calories per slice. Being organic and healthy, it does not keep as long as other loaves, and will develop mold after about a week, so I keep it in the refrigerator. If you have a large family, this would not be an issue, though. I usually bought this at the grocery store, but found this while looking for alternative sources while dealing with the COVID 19 restrictions. I think I will continue to use this vendor even after they are lifted. So, basically, this is a really tasty, wholesome bread at a good price point, and with a good seller. Review: What’s Not To Like - yummy! - I Love all of Dave’s Killer bread products! You can get 4 loaves for this price if you go to Wal-mart** A: If you look at the ingredients you will see its all natural using 22 organic grains, nuts and seeds. List to follow at end... I think if you do some investigating those $1-$2 breads may not have ingredients that are good for you, such as high fructose corn syrup. White bread is cheap but is it good for you? As far as price goes it is expensive and as a single mom I mostly only buy it on sale, for now. There are other whole grain breads that aren't quite as expensive. It is also a matter of taste, everyone has their own preference. I hope you find your favorite bread! Here is a list of ingredients from my favorite DKB Slin sliced: organic whole flax seeds, organic sunflower seeds, organic ground whole flax seeds, organic un-hulled brown sesame seeds, organic triticale, organic pumpkin seeds, organic rolled barley, organic rolled oats, organic rolled rye, organic un-hulled black sesame seeds, organic millet, organic rolled spelt, organic blue cornmeal, organic brown rice flour, organic yellow cornmeal, organic amaranth flour, organic rolled KAMUT® Khorasan wheat, organic quinoa, organic buckwheat flour, organic sorghum flour, organic poppy seeds), organic dried cane syrup (sugar), organic wheat gluten, organic oat fiber, organic molasses, sea salt, organic cultured whole wheat, yeast, organic vinegar. Contains: wheat. Manufactured in a facility that uses tree nuts, dairy and soy. Contains no animal products. **Q: how do you justify pricing at about 3 times what it sells for in a brick and mortar store??** A: Easy actually. A brick and mortar store does not pay Amazon fees, membership fees, shipping fees etc. my suggestion would be then to shopping or local grocer. Your paying for the convenience of shopping at home and having it delivered. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The bread is very good, seller shipped promptly *by E***N on May 10, 2020* If you like a whole grain bread, this bread is very good, and is sliced. The price is a bit steep here, compared to the local grocery store and I wish it was covered with food stamps here as it is in my local grocery. I have contacted the company directly and I have a lot of respect for the brand and what it's doing for people.
