Review: Extra Firm But Comfortable Too ! - Definitely an extra firm pillow. I like soft pillows but constantly have to fluff them and was not getting the support. Tried a neck pillow - still wasn’t firm. Other reviews mentioned this was really firm and I gave it a shot. I have slept really well. Yes it’s firm but once your head is on it and laying down the firmness feeling goes away and feels like a normal pillow so it’s not uncomfortable when sleeping. Our heads are heavy and this helps with my neck pain that I had from old pillows.
Review: Very firm - It’s very firm , my husband likes it very much

## Features

- Extra Firm, Steady Support: If you like a firm pillow that doesn’t collapse, this extra firm pillow uses a solid one-piece memory foam core — not loose shredded fill that compresses or shifts overnight. Many sleepers describe it as truly firm while still comfortable, giving you a stable feel all night without constant re-fluffing.
- Neck Alignment Comfort: This firm pillow pairs a supportive feel with a comfortable loft, so side sleepers and back sleepers can settle in without constant re-fluffing. It’s designed to keep your head level and your neck aligned, making it easier to find a position that feels natural.
- Choose Your Firm Feel: If you’ve tried a soft pillow and want a hard pillow style feel, this extra firm pillow is made for that preference. It’s not meant to be folded or shaped like a squishy pillow. If you love plush cushioning, it may feel too firm.
- Easy Care, Low Odor: The removable cover is machine washable for simple upkeep — spot-clean the foam core only, do not machine wash or put the foam in the dryer. Designed with a specialized foam process to minimize new-foam scent, any mild odor typically clears within 24–48 hours in a ventilated room.
- Holds Shape Over Time: Arrives vacuum-packed for safe shipping — allow 24–48 hours for the pillow to fully expand to its full loft after unboxing. Once expanded, the memory foam stays consistent and won’t go flat after a few nights, so you’re not constantly flipping or stacking for the right height.
- Supportive Comfort for Side Sleepers: This firm memory foam pillow delivers the structural support side sleepers need to maintain proper spinal alignment throughout the night. As a firm pillow for side sleepers, the high-density core fills the gap between your shoulder and neck, while the quilted cover side offers just enough cushioning to comfortably cradle your head for restful, supported sleep.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this pillow really extra firm?**
A: Yes. It is intentionally dense with minimal sink. If you prefer plush or squishy pillows, it may feel too firm.

**Q: Who is it best for?**
A: Most people choose it when they want a stable, structured feel, especially for side and back sleeping positions.

**Q: Can I fold or bunch it like a fluffy pillow?**
A: Not really. The core is designed to stay structured, so it does not behave like a down or shredded-fill pillow.

**Q: How long does it take to fully expand after opening?**
A: Allow 24-48 hours for the pillow to reach its full loft after unboxing.

**Q: Is there any smell when I open it?**
A: Some people notice little to no scent, but a light new-foam scent can happen. Let it air out and it typically fades.

It’s very firm , my husband likes it very much

### ⭐ Old design was great for side sleepers but they went cheaper.
*by S***A on March 27, 2026*

Update: 8/2026 I order this again and DID NOT get what I got last time. The tag says something else than FirmNest. It is super soft like every other memory foam pillow. Now, the texture is different. The size is different. I was extremely disappointed because I thought I finally had found the perfect firm pillow that says firm longer than two weeks but this one, my head immediately sunk into it and I even let it sit out for two days. These are comparison pictures of the new one compared to the old one. The old one is the dark blue one, and the new one is the light gray striped one the gray one may seem like it’s puffier, but my head sinks immediately into it. Please make the pillow you use to. It was the only pillow I could find on Amazon that wasn’t super soft and that I comfortable for side sleeping. March 2026 I actually LOVE this pillow. I went through SO many pillows as a side sleeper. It started to feel hopeless…. This one was pretty firm when I laid on it at first. I sat on it for an hour and it softened perfectly.
