In truth, there's a whole lot to love about this game; its main character is very humorous and charming, the gameplay is very good at keeping things fresh, the graphics are great for the system it's on, the environments are all great, and it even has a catchy soundtrack. The only real downsides here is that the game was a bit shorter than I was expecting, and sometimes the hitboxes on collectible items (especially when on some rail segments) can be a bit wonky. With that said, the pros vastly outweigh cons, and "Daxter" was a game I enjoyed playing... and to tell you the truth, I didn't want it to end the first time I played! I even went back and played it a second time less than a week after buying it, if that tells you anything. If you're a fan of the Jak and Daxter series, you'll love this game... and even if you're unfamiliar with the previous games that came before it, it's still a great 3D Action Platformer that anyone can enjoy.
