A: Good Morning
Yes, RMR-141 is good for sanitizing washing machines. I would recommend to spray the affected surface or the whole inside of the washer, let sit for ten minutes, and run an empty load.

**Q: Will this get mold out of carpet?**
A: Without a doubt. Again however there are normal common sense considerations. How deep does the mold go? What’s under the carpet? Padding? Does that have mold? The floor under that? Also, how deep is the nap? How dense? You would need to do a color fast test in a place where you can get a result without creating a visible spot if the color is in fact affected. As far as the product effectively killing mold? Completely effective. I would probably use it liberally in a rug and under and then after I would want to use a hot water and soap solution to lift as much back out after leaving it in a good while. Then as much good air drying, Strong fans etc. If you’re going to do it, take the extra steps, time and effort to really succeed. Any lingering mold makes the entire project a waste because even the smallest amount left lingering means you’ve wasted your time because it will grow back. If you take the right easy steps, you can really be rid of it however so it’s truly gone and no longer a threat. Good luck!!
