It was the perfect transition after my child grew out of their ‘helper tower’. My toddler is around 38 in tall, and this allows him to safely be at the counter with us for meal prep. I was concerned it might not feel safe for a toddler, but it is very study and non-slip. As an adult, I even use it to grab things that are stored up high in our kitchen. One minor and cosmetic complaint is that the wood grain is a little inconsistent on the first step (bottom right).
