Poor cover /journal quality *by A***R on 6 May 2017* Pros :Good quality paper. Fountain pens (lamy safari f) don't bleed through.Moderately/well pricedCons :I ordered and additional pack of thought dot books. All the notebooks have a common issue of not being able to open fully.The books are uneven and mostly warped . This seems to be due to the paper being cut unevenly or not bound properly(not an expert this is just a guess )The cover/journal was of poor quality , small cuts, poor eyelets (this may be an issue localized to my piece).The rubber bands/threads seem to be on the verge of loosing their elasticity.Note : looking at the reviews by others , I feel that a lot my issues are to do with the piece I received. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Needs improvement of paper quality *by I***N on 24 September 2017* I have purchased two sets of Thought slot, initially I have not faced any trouble, recently once line refill soaking ink heavily. I am using various pens with various ink. Some of inks are rated to quick dry type like Pelikan 4001&Lamy Black, Waterman. Pens are mostly Lamy Safari(F), Lamy CP1(F), Sheaffer Award (M), Jinhao 159(M). Some times with Uniball Unipin 0.2, 0.3,0.05. The issue is with one refill and that is not usable. Each notebooks cost approx 100 bucks and if this is the quality will definitely move to moleskine or midori. ### ⭐ Smells of latex condom. Big disappointment. *by E***S on 13 September 2017* I am highly disappointed with this notebook. First of all this smells of rubber tyre and latex condom. I tried spraying some fragrance on it, all in vein. I am having serious concerns about the safety of the material used for the folder cover. The built quality is very poor, in fact the materials has been built by hand and I find it as a big flaw in the design. Sometimes flaw indeed is beautiful, the so called wabi Sabi in Japanese. But here, flaws have no such aesthetic attributes. It's like biscuits advertising "made by hand" popular in India. Touched by hand? Yukky! Of course, I support the spirit, in helping the local Hyderabad community workers, but given the quality of products, I'm having serious reservations about the very truth of this supposedly charity affairs.
