Will not recommend this to any underage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Emotional, Addictive, and Sometimes Frustrating — But It Hits Hard *by A***A on 6 April 2025* Ugly Love pulled me in from the very first page. Colleen Hoover knows how to write chemistry, and the connection between Tate and Miles is intense — raw, messy, and full of tension. The story is told in a dual timeline, and I really enjoyed how Miles’ past slowly unfolds. It adds depth to his pain and explains his cold behavior in the present. What I really liked is how Hoover doesn’t shy away from emotional damage — she shows how love isn’t always pretty, and sometimes it’s downright ugly. The writing is fast-paced and super readable. I finished it in just a couple of sittings. That said, I did find myself wishing for more emotional communication between the characters. Sometimes the push-pull got frustrating, especially when Tate kept accepting so little from Miles. But I get that the story was meant to show the unhealthy side of love too.
