Right off the bat, the quality jumped out at me. The models and artwork were gorgeous—every page brought the Warhammer 40K universe to life with stunning visuals. It was easy to get lost in the details. What I loved was how accessible it felt, striking a great balance between being easy to skim for highlights and detailed enough to dive into the lore without feeling overwhelmed. I have played a few 40K video games and would love to get into the miniatures (but haven't yet) and this book was very helpful in providing more context for the factions I have encountered in the video games. The coverage of the different factions, even the minor ones, seemed thorough. The only downside I can think of is that I wish it had come out sooner when I was younger. But better late than never, right? For me, this book is a no-brainer, especially for the price (I paid $45). It's got everything I wanted: amazing visuals, tons of lore, and it was just plain fun to flip through. I highly recommend it!
