**Q: Does anyone know where I can get a 1/2" IPS to fix old lamp?**
A: I do not know why "IPS" and this socket is related to a lamp. If you have an industrial style lamp an adapter can be found at a plumbing outlet.

**Q: Is this 1/8 ip or 1/4 ip?**
A: Hi there, the 3-way lamp socket is 1/8 IP. If more size information required, please check the second product image in the detail page. If there is additional question, please feel free to contact us.

**Q: is the knob removable?**
A: The knob is removable, but there is a stem that the knob screws onto which is not removable.

**Q: Can I use a 50, 200, 250 watt bulb in this fixture?**
A: Not sure. I use a 50, 100, 150 lightbulb in it.
