Review: Faulty unit? Poor pumping at higher end of flow regime - I'm not sure if I just received a faulty unit, but at higher flow rates (>200 mL/minute) the pump motor will rotate for a short period of time (only a few seconds/minute) then abruptly stop turning. Once it's stopped, it doesn't restart, which makes it pretty tough to use continuously. There is no blockage in the system or significant backpressure that should be causing this.

### ⭐ Faulty unit? Poor pumping at higher end of flow regime

I'm not sure if I just received a faulty unit, but at higher flow rates (>200 mL/minute) the pump motor will rotate for a short period of time (only a few seconds/minute) then abruptly stop turning. Once it's stopped, it doesn't restart, which makes it pretty tough to use continuously. There is no blockage in the system or significant backpressure that should be causing this.

This is a good pump with stated capacity and precise control. I use this pump to move saltwater on continuous duty and it has a couple issues. The 4 mm x 7 mm replacement tubing is hard to find in the USA, which is an issue. The silicon tubing suggested on the amazon site as of 9/21/2021 - is for making connections, and lasts about three days if you try to use it in the rollers. Also, as of the same date, the Kamoer store does not offer peristaltic tubing. Your options are alibaba or you could try 5/32 x 9/32 masterflex tubing. Also, if the power goes off - the pump will not restart. Also an issue for a continuous duty pump - which limits control options (cannot be run on a timer) and creates a dependability issue.
