So far I've had it plugged in for about 2 weeks and there hadn't been a single brawl in all that time (at least none that I or my housemate have witnessed). All in all, this has been a really great purchase and it's made all of our lives that much less stressful! Plus our kitties are no longer scratched up from their animosity. Given the hassle of giving away kittens these days, I became a crazy cat lady by default. 4 boys and 2 girls, everything was fine until right at 1 year. Then we had to separate the girls(yes, I need a group fixing discount lol) and the boys... Well, first came the disturbing SVU scenes, which was bizarre and unsettling. THEN came the fur flying flat out FIGHTS. And some outside-the-box urination, which is absolutely not something I can handle. So, I turned to Google and voila, Feliway. The reviews vary some site to site but with an average of 4 stars, I was cautiously hopeful there must be something to it. After a whole week, I feel I can reasonably recommend this product. The whole dynamic has changed. It's not purrfect but it won't be until I can arrange to get everyone to the vet. I was recommended this product by the Vet. I got it and plugged it in. Within 30 minutes, it was too hot to be able to touch. However, the reason I give it 4 stars is because I could tell that my cats are noticeably more calm. So I plug it in for 30 minutes before a stressful situation and then unplug it and set it near where they sleep in a ceramic bowl.
