Fits the fuel lines as expected. The vendor's picture shows an unpainted filter can, which is like OE. What was in the box was a filter can painted black. The paint makes it a challenge to install - the spring steel wrap-around retainer clips are stout and a good amount of persuasion is needed to coax the painted filter into it's new home. The OE galvanized style just slides right in. This order of 2 filters were shipped in a plastic bag with no padding - luckily none of the tubes were bent. At the fuel pump, the blue flex line is 3/8 to accomodate the 3/8 barb coming out of the in tank fuel pump. Then the fuel line turns into steel line. The steel line turns back into blue flex line at the inline fuel filter but this blue flex line is 5/16. Ford reduces the blue supply line from 3/8 to 5/16 at the inline fuel filter. That is why the barbs coming out of the fuel filter are 5/16. We are no longer at 3/8. Sneaky Ford engineering!!!!!!!!!!!! **Q: Will it a 95 ford f150 4.9** A: Yes and works like a champ. Much easier to install and remove than the off brand cheaper filters.
