Review: Powerful and compact Windows PC at an excellent price - This is an ideal little PC that packs a punch. It works straight out of the box, just having to wait for Windows to update. It sits neatly on top of my old desktop tower and using a KVM switch it lets me share screen, keyboard and mouse between it and the old Vista64 machine, on which most of my work is stored and which I use on an everyday basis, as it has drivers for my large investment in duplexing colour laser printers, for which no drivers are available in later Windows versions. Then, I can easily use the new Dreamquest computer for up-to-date browsers to support latest web sites and latest application versions. There has been one small issue, which does not warrant a downrated review, but within the perfectly intact packaging was the power supply which had been packed and shipped with a broken plastic 'earth' pin - not necessary on the DC power supply as an earth or ground but purely to defeat the gate on a 13a UK mains socket. I urgently needed to use the computer, so, rather than send the whole computer back for a refund and replacement, I simply used some UHU Super Glue to mend the plastic pin. There is no way the damage could have happened in transit, so more care is needed with quality control of the state of every item that goes in the box.
Review: Fantastic bit of kit - I bought this as a stop gap as my laptop died and I didn't want to fork out a grand for a new one. I just needed something for video calls, emails and general admin type work. I plugged it in via the USB C to a hub I have set up with 3 monitors and USB decives etc connected. And everything worked flawlessly. Been using it for a week or so now for teams meetings, zoom meetings, google meet, email, browsing and I cant fault it. I've had no issues with anything. The fan does kick in pretty quickly but its not as noisy as some people have made out. Overall for what I'm using it for its fantastic value for money.

This is an ideal little PC that packs a punch. It works straight out of the box, just having to wait for Windows to update. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good(ish) but a few problems remain

The system works tolerably well and was an easy first foray into the world of Linux. I have not yet been able to install some of the software I want and sometimes online streaming sound momentarily glitches. I've requested support but so far the advice I've received has not helped, so only two stars for support.
