Should work - but not as good as original.
Not plastic, it’s some kind of pressed cardboard-like material (similar to original, but flimsier) Not exactly like the original part, but close. The original has some foam strips and embedded washers. I removed that stuff from the original and glued on the foam and used the washers. I’m hoping this hold up. The shape and holes do line up correctly.
