(Note that the dress is not lined, per se; the fabric is fleecy on the inside and incredibly soft.) As soon as I opened the package I was impressed with the weight and comfort of the fabric. It has already proven to be the perfect winter maxi! I can dress it up or dress it down with simple accessory changes. The length is perfect. And I got a million compliments when I wore it. Loved it so much I already bought a second one in red! As for fit, I bought a 2XL and the fit and length was great. The fabric was a little clingy so I wore shapeware under it (I'm 5'5 and wear a size 20) but the black is flattering so I think I'm the only one who noticed. I did buy up a size when I bought the red one because I figured the color would be less forgiving- I'm glad I did this but it is way longer than the 2xl. the v-neck is very low but I put a cami underneath for day-wear and its a nice pop of color.
