Whix is best quality cinnamon? Thanks** A: According to the McCormick web site, the product is made with C. cassia (Chinese), not C. verum from Ceylon. C. verum is considered to be the superior cinnamon. **Q: is this cinnamon Non-gmo?** A: There is no indication on the jar with this information. I would assume if it was non-gmo it would be indicated. The customer service number listed on the label for questions is 1-800-632-5847.
