Any suggestions?** A: I had the same problem (I've had the keyboard for 5 years), with it getting a lot worse lately. Changing the batteries didn't help. I took the suggestion of some of the posts here and moved the receiver to a front USB 2.0 port from a USB 3.0 in the back on my computer. So far everything seems fine. The receiver is now about 4 ft from the keyboard with nothing in the way of the signal to the keyboard. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. **Q: I have a Dell xps 18 computer that came with this keyboard and mouse combo that are bluetooth compatible. Will this set also work with bluetooth?** A: I bought the LP KM717 Premier Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. It worked like a charm with the USB receiver but had some trouble in setting up through bluetooth on my Win7 laptop. I tried atleast 10 times, every time the bluetooth device will get added but will not work. I was able to make it work by first setting up the bluetooth mouse and disabled the GATT server service under the Services tab on the Mouse Bluetooth device properties. The mouse, this time with a better ergonomical design, is sensitive, smooth and fast. Keyboard is a delight to work on. The feel of the keys is very much like mac keyboards which i love. Hours of typing doesn't tire me now. Mouse has a feature where if its not used, it switches off after a while. Great one to prevent battery drain. The bluetooth technology in this keyboard is much more smoother than the other wireless keyboards by dell.The seller sent a very old piece. The date mentioned on the box is May 2013. I guess that's the reason why the free duracell batteries inside (packed in a separate compartment) had leaked and dried up when i opened the box. Thankfully, it didn't ruin the keyboard, or the mouse.And Dell, I really don't understand why you don't provide any CAPS lock indicator??? It's a small light that you have to get on your keyboard. Have been using it for over an year. For normal usage, its perfect.However for gaming, these are not reliable at all. Mouse have a lag and is glitchy. If you press a button for a long time (eg: w), keyboard sometimes stops working momentarily and becomes laggy. You have to disconnect and reconnect the receiver to fix the issue. Mouse issue happens frequently but the keyboard issue is rare.
