But it works well and before I bought it I did a lot of research and this was the best thing I could find for my particular application. The DIG RBC_7000 is easy to program and it allows great flexibility as to frequency of operation. In addition, you can easily water manually for a preset length of time. Best of all they promise that 2 AA alkaline batteries will last up to 3 years. This is similar to my previous timer and a great benefit.
