We read it to talk about using tissues instead of our fingers. While we still have nose pickers (it's preschool, what can I say), we've noticed a big improvement on the children at least some of the time getting up to get tissues on their own - then getting tons of praise for it! Nice, easy wording. The only thing I didn't necessarily agree with were the tips at the end of the book about not calling a child out on nose picking - sometimes modeling is just not enough. I've been teaching preschool for 7 years now, and while we aren't embarrassing the children by any means, if I see one picking their nose, I'm going to tell them to get a tissue.
